Why is hatred toward Jews being fueled on social media? Who is behind the fake narratives about Uman and the so-called “Heavenly Jerusalem”? How well does Ukrainian society understand Jewish history, culture, and the contribution of Jews to Ukraine’s cultural heritage?

The Diye-Slovo studio, in cooperation with the NGO “Jewish Television” and with the support of the Zionist Federation of Ukraine (ZFU), held an in-depth conversation with Viacheslav Likhachov — a member of the Expert Council of the Center for Civil Liberties and head of the monitoring group on manifestations of anti-Semitism and xenophobia in Ukraine. The discussion was prompted by a wave of anti-Semitic comments on social media.
